Location
Hai Duong is considered to have a favorable location, located in the center of the Red River Delta and in the Northern key economic region, being a “bridge” between Hanoi and the port city of Hai Phong and the tourist city of Ha Long. Hai Duong – Hai Phong – Quang Ninh is also the key economic triangle in the eastern region of the Northern key economic region, benefiting from a complete inter-regional transportation system including railways, national highways, highways and near major airports such as Noi Bai and Cat Bi. Many important traffic routes pass through the province such as National Highways 5, 10, 18, 37, 38; Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway; Hanoi – Hai Phong railway.
Human Resources
The young and abundant labor structure and the equal proportion of men and women in Hai Duong is an advantage of industrial zones. Hai Duong’s population is second only to Hanoi and Hai Phong. Currently, the workforce aged 15 years and over is more than 1.3 million people, accounting for more than 68% of the population, Hai Duong is considered to ensure human resources for active and future investment projects.
Transport infrastructure
Hai Duong province is continuing to invest in building an inter-provincial transportation system such as Dinh Bridge, Quang Thanh Bridge connecting with Hai Phong; Trieu Bridge, Dong Mai Bridge with Quang Ninh; Dong Viet bridge with Bac Giang; Canal Vang bridge with Bac Ninh; the new Hiep bridge with Thai Binh. Traffic routes within the province have been invested as an advantage for industrial parks.
